I really only knew Stella from my childhood and then much later, when she was a huge support to my parents when they were frail and poorly, but I have a very clear image of an amazingly kind and strong lady. She will be sadly missed.

I was so very sad to hear the news of our dear friend Stella's death. She became a really good friend to me and we enjoyed so many amusing chats through the years. Stella was an excellent teacher, always so sincere yet full of common sense and humour. She will he very much missed by us all at the Inner Wheel Club.
